Casa Ballena, Luxury On The Bay!

Just returned from a 4-night stay at Casa Ballena and it was perfect! We had 3 families with 6 kids ranging from 1 - 8 and the house was great. Lots of beach toys and the house had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. Very short walk to the playground and beach. Parking for 3 cars was very easy - which is very important in the area. Hot tub was also great to have after a chilly dip in the ocean. Highly recommend and we hope to return. Thanks to our great hosts!

We have spent a week at Casa Ballena for 3 times now and our family looks forward to it every year. The staff at SDBHR are very responsive and always make attend to any requests that we have promptly. The large house easily accommodates 10 people and the location on the bay ensure that there is a quiet place for kids to play and for the adults to linger on the patio in peace. The beach is a short 2-block walk away and the house comes equipped with everything you need (beach chairs, towels, toys, boogie boards etc.).

Casa Ballena is a beautiful home in a great location on Mission Bay. We have been coming to Mission Bay as a family for over 25 years, but needed a larger home to accommodate the 3 generations in our family. Everyone loved our time in the house and the easy bay access is perfect for young children; at the same time the beach is a short walk away. The house was clean and the kitchen well-equipped for a large group and lots of meal prep at home. The house does not have AC, so the upper floors can get pretty hot in the summer; there are ceiling fans and floor fans in each bedroom, which help. The master bedroom/bath is beautiful, although the mattress is extremely soft, and very hard on our backs; we're hoping it is replaced before next summer. The washing machine was acting up during our visit; although prompt efforts were made to repair it, the machine was basically unusable during our stay, which made things pretty difficult by the end of our stay.

Fantastic property on Mission bay! Well stocked house and management is very attentive. Second time in this house and just booked for next year!

Another (10th) wonderful vacation at 3312 Bayside Walk. The house feels like a second home to all our Grandchildren, and we all enjoy the delightful amenities. Can't wait for next year already!
